2. What CiaoCity Is
CiaoCity is a digital city guide and travel information platform.
The Service provides destination information, city guides, travel-related content and tools intended to help travelers discover places and connect with independent local service providers.
Depending on the available features, CiaoCity may help users discover or contact independent professionals such as:

CiaoCity is an intermediary and information platform. CiaoCity does not itself provide guiding, transportation, translation, immigration, education, legal, financial, medical or other professional services unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular Service.

Professionals listed on CiaoCity are independent third parties.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, they are not employees, agents, representatives, partners or contractors of CiaoCity.
CiaoCity does not control the manner in which independent professionals perform their services.
Any agreement, booking, payment, communication or other arrangement between a traveler and an independent professional is made between those parties.
4. No Guarantee of Third-Party Services
CiaoCity does not guarantee the availability, quality, legality, accuracy, reliability, qualifications, experience, identity or performance of any independent service provider.
The appearance of a professional or service listing on CiaoCity does not constitute an endorsement, certification or guarantee by CiaoCity.
Users should independently evaluate service providers and verify information before entering into an arrangement.
5. User Accounts and Registration
Certain features may require registration or the creation of an account.
When registering, you agree to provide information that is accurate, current and complete.
You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and up to date.
You are responsible for activities performed through your account and should take reasonable steps to protect your account credentials.
You must notify us if you believe that your account has been accessed or used without authorization.
6. Professional Accounts and Listings
Professionals may create profiles or listings describing their services.
Professionals are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness and legality of the information they provide.
Professionals must not publish misleading, fraudulent, unlawful, defamatory or otherwise inappropriate information.
CiaoCity may review, modify, restrict, suspend or remove a listing where reasonably necessary to protect users, maintain the integrity of the Service or comply with applicable law.
7. User Responsibilities
You agree to use the Service lawfully and responsibly.
You must not:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes
- Provide fraudulent or misleading information
- Impersonate another person or organization
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems

Information available through CiaoCity does not constitute legal, immigration, financial, medical, tax, insurance or other professional advice.
Where users require professional advice, they should consult an appropriately qualified professional or relevant official authority.
10. Communications Between Users
CiaoCity may provide tools that allow travelers and professionals to communicate or exchange contact information.
Users are responsible for their own communications and interactions.
CiaoCity is not responsible for statements, representations, agreements or commitments made by users or independent professionals.
11. Payments and Third-Party Transactions
Unless expressly stated otherwise, CiaoCity does not process or hold payments for independent services arranged between travelers and professionals.
If payment functionality is introduced, additional terms, payment conditions or third-party payment provider terms may apply.
Transactions conducted directly between users and independent professionals are subject to the terms agreed between those parties.
12. Content Submitted by Users
Users may submit content such as profile information, descriptions, photographs, reviews, comments or other material.
You remain responsible for content you submit.
By submitting content to CiaoCity, you grant CiaoCity a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, format and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the Service.
You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit the content and grant this license.
13. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the CiaoCity website, software, interface, branding, original text, graphics, guides, databases, design elements and other materials are owned by or licensed to CiaoCity.
These materials may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, publicly displayed or commercially exploited without appropriate authorization.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of CiaoCity intellectual property to users.
14. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may integrate or link to third-party websites, applications, maps, communication platforms, payment services, analytics services, advertising services and other external technologies.
Third-party services are operated independently from CiaoCity.

CiaoCity is not responsible for losses arising from transactions, communications, services or disputes between travelers and independent service providers.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
21. Applicable Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms are intended to operate subject to applicable mandatory laws and consumer protection rights.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict mandatory rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under the laws applicable to you.
Depending on your location, additional statutory rights or protections may apply, including rights under applicable European Union, United Kingdom, Turkish or United States consumer protection and privacy laws.
22. Disputes
If you have a dispute concerning the Service, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve the matter informally.
Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from exercising mandatory rights available under applicable law.
